Partial Open
Staircase

A partial open stair is framed to walls fully along the length of one stringer and partially along the length of the opposite stringer. The staircase would consist of one full length routed stringer, one shorter routed stringer, and one shorter open stringer.

 

Double Partial Open Staircase

A double partial open stair is framed to walls partially along the length of both opposing stringers. The staircase would consist of two shorter open stringers and two shorter routed stringers.

 

Full Open Staircase

A full open stair is framed to a wall fully along the length of one stringer and open completely along the length of the opposite stringer. The staircase would consist of one open stringer and one routed stringer.

 

Double Full Open Staircase

A double full open stair is accessible to the room on both sides framed only underneath the staircase. The staircase would consist of two open stringers.
